Description

PalmComparomics

Presentation

Palms are one of the main groups of plants of tropical ecosystems and they represent a variety of services and products to tropical communities. PalmComparomics is a Web resource for the analyses of the genomic resources available in this group of plants. In this first version PalmComparomics presents the results of the exploitation of the homology between Cocos nucifera and Elaeis guineensis to improve transcriptome resources. In future versions, we hope to include other species of palms and offer a wide range of tools for comparative and evolutionary analysis of this rich and unique group of species.
